Working with Temple Judea

  • Temple Judea of Manhasset has been a vibrant Reform synagogue community serving families for generations.

  • Students would work with Temple Judea’s Rabbi Chizner and Cantor Jacobson, both of whom are experienced, leaders dedicated to guiding students through this journey.

  • Familes gain access to Temple Judea membership privileges for the year of their child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

  • Temple Judea partners with Hasson Caterers, a premier catering company.

Pricing Details

$5,500 Includes:

  • Weekly preparation sessions with the Rabbi beginning approximately 6 months before the Bar or Bat MitzvahMeetings.

  • Torah/Musical preparation with the Cantor

  • Bar or Bat Mitzvah service in the Temple Judea sanctuary

  • Temple Judea membership privileges during the B’nai Mitzvah yearGuidance 

  • Support from MitzvAcademy throughout the preparation process

Temple Judea B'Nai Mitzvah 

Program Details

  • Students begin weekly lessons with the Rabbi 6 months before their Bar or Bat Mitzvah. They also meet with the Cantor throughout that time.

  • Lessons take place at the Temple.

  • Your Child's Service will be  led by Rabbi Chizner and Cantor Deborah Jacobson and  takes place in Temple Judea's sanctuary
