Jewish Education
MitzvAcademy offers a comprehensive and engaging Jewish education for students in grades 2-6. Our well-rounded curriculum includes Hebrew language, Jewish holidays, customs, prayers, and Torah study—providing students with the knowledge and tools to feel connected to Judaism. We foster a warm and welcoming environment. Throughout their time at MitzvAcademy, students develop a deep appreciation for Jewish values, a strong sense of community, and a lasting love for Israel.
Hebrew Learning
Each year, students develop strong Hebrew reading skills. Our program focuses on decoding Hebrew letters and vowels, building fluency and confidence week by week. This solid foundation ensures students are well prepared for their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, able to approach their prayers and Torah portions with skill and understanding. In addition to reading, students are introduced weekly to Hebrew vocabulary, deepening their connection to the language.
Jewish Heritage and
Traditions
Our students gain a well-rounded understanding of Jewish life, learning about holidays, history, prayers, traditions, and more. Our curriculum brings Jewish history to life and helps students understand the cycle of the Jewish year through holiday celebrations and traditions. They also learn key prayers and their meanings, building both knowledge and spiritual connection. With a mix of discussion, storytelling, and hands-on activities, students engage deeply with the richness of Jewish culture and values.
Tikkun Olam
At MitzvAcademy, our name reflects our mission: to inspire a love for mitzvot and make them part of everyday life. A core part of our curriculum is Tikkun Olam—the Jewish value of repairing the world. Through hands-on projects, community involvement, and age-appropriate discussions, students learn the importance of kindness, compassion, and responsibility toward others. Each week, we also practice tzedakah as a community, encouraging students to give thoughtfully and see themselves as capable of making a difference.
A Love for Israel
We strive to instill a deep love and appreciation for Israel in every student. Through engaging lessons, students learn about Israel’s significance to the Jewish people, both historically and today. They explore its geography, culture, and traditions, gaining a sense of connection to the land and its people. From ancient history to modern life, students discover the beauty and diversity of Israel in ways that are meaningful and age-appropriate. Our goal is to help students feel proud of their connection to Israel and understand its central place in Jewish identity.
Games, Art Projects
and Cooking
During each class, learning is hands-on, and joyful. Students engage in creative art, cooking, and educational games that make each lesson fun, memorable, and meaningful. Whether they’re crafting, cooking, or playing, students build community, spark curiosity, and experience the joy of Jewish traditions in every class. These activities bring learning to life in a way that speaks to children’s hearts and imaginations. Our classrooms are filled with laughter and discovery making Jewish education something students look forward to each week.
